On Sunday, February 25, 2024, Dr. Queen preached in view of a call, followed by a membership vote where he received the confirmation as Senior Pastor.
On Saturday, February 24, 2024, we held 3 different Q&A sessions where church members and attendees were able to ask Dr. Queen questions and get to know the Queen family.
On Monday, February 12, 2024, an email was sent out to all church members and active attendees that included an information packet regarding Dr. Matt Queen. That packet can be accessed here.
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, the Senior Pastor Search Committee announced that the candidate who has been revealed to them through God’s timing for the role of Senior Pastor at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church is Dr. Matt Queen. He and his family will be coming in view of a call, followed by a membership vote, on February 25, 2024.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023 we held a Called Meeting at the conclusion of the worship service to vote on the Interim Pastor Position. The vote has confirmed Pastor Robert Keatts as Interim Pastor of FABC.
