GROW Groups

WHAT IS A GROW GROUP?
A GROW Group is an inter-generational, like-gendered group of 3-5 believers that gather weekly to disciple one another in the areas of prayer, the Bible, evangelism, fellowship. GROW groups meet once a week for a minimum of one hours throughout a 12-month period. There is a three-fold purpose to GROW. First, your GROW group aims to help you grow personally in your relationship with God as others in your group help to hold you accountable to the 4 weekly disciplines of a believer. Second, GROW provides an opportunity for you to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus. Third, GROW is designed to help and encourage you to pray for, seek out, and start a new group towards the end of the 12-month period.

WHEN & WHERE DO GROW GROUPS MEET?
GROW Groups meet throughout the week. Options for meeting are:
  • Meet together off campus at a time and location that is convenient to the group.
  • Meet together on campus by reservation.
  • Meet online at a convenient time.

HOW DO I START A GROW GROUP?
Here are a few ideas for finding people to take part in your GROW group:
  • Pray and ask God to show you who to ask to be in your group.
  • A great place to beginning looking is in your Sunday School class.
  • If you have recently led someone to the Lord or have met another believer in your daily life, ask them.
