THE VISION...
The Student Ministry at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church strives to bring all students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This means developing authentic disciples. The Student Ministry strives to provide youth the opportunity to come in contact with the living God. Try as we might, there is not a single person among us who can change someone else, only God can. We want to allow students to experience God through worship, through watching Him work through prayer and service to others, and through studying His Word.
THE GOAL...
The goal of our Student Ministry is to equip the youth to develop into committed disciples of Christ who live their lives in worship of God, rather than casual Christians. This means that youth will be challenged to go deeper. They will have the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God and to become true followers of Christ. When the youth graduate from our youth program, we want them to be armed with the experience and knowledge to live a genuine life as a follower of Christ away from the safety net of the Student Ministry.
