GROW Groups

"We will not grow unless we see our need to grow, we will not pursue holiness unless we see how much we are still unholy, and we will not see our unholiness unless we look at the holiness of God." -Jerry Bridges
WHAT IS A GROW GROUP?
A GROW Group is an inter-generational, like-gendered group of 3-5 believers that gather weekly to disciple one another in the areas of prayer, Scripture memorization, and personal Bible study for the purpose of faithfully applying God's Word to everyday living. Each GROW Group will be encouraged to utilize the discipline of a H.E.A.R. Journal to chronicle their journey through Scripture and to hold one another accountable as each member seeks to live in obedience to what God is revealing to him/her through His Word.

WHEN & WHERE DO GROW GROUPS MEET?
GROW Groups meet Sunday evenings at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church from 5:00-6:30 pm. GROW Groups begin with an assembly time taught by a  Master Teacher for the first 15-20 minutes. The men gather in the Fellowship Hall. The women gather in the Multi-Purpose Room. The Master Teacher time consists of a book study. The current book study is Growing Up by Dr. Robby Gallaty. After the assembly time, each GROW Group splits off to various classrooms around the church's campus for prayer, Scripture memorization, and to discuss weekly H.E.A.R. Journal entries.
