Worship Choir
Ages youth & up – no audition necessary
Friendly Avenue’s Worship Choir provides powerful and inspirational praise leadership at our 10:45 services each Sunday morning. The choir, along with the orchestra, presents special music presentations throughout the year, including Easter, July 4th, and our annual Christmas outreach, the Living Christmas Tree.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays – 6:15 p.m. - Choir Room – Childcare provided
Singing Seniors
Ages 55 & Up – no audition necessary
Our Singing Seniors provide worship leadership Sunday mornings at 8:15 and 10:45 on a quarterly basis. Along with occasional day trips, they enjoy a rich fellowship and minister out in the community, sharing encouragement and the love of Jesus through song.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays – 10:00 a.m. - Choir Room
Student Choir
Grades 6 through 12
Our Student Choir rehearses each week to develop the skills necessary to lead in worship services and participate in various community outreach events including the Living Christmas Tree each year. Many also help lead worship each week in their youth ministry.
Rehearsals: Sundays – 4:50 p.m. (during the school year) - Choir Room
KidsPraise
Cherubs – ages 3 & 4| Music Makers – K thru–1st | Young Musicians – grades 2 thru 5
Our dedicated team of leaders model and teach skills that help establish and develop the musical and spiritual foundations for service that will help guide girls and boys throughout their lives.
Spring and winter (Christmas) musical presentations are performed each year, demonstrating what the children have learned.
Rehearsals: Sundays – 6:00 p.m. (during the school year) – various classrooms
